Pricing, The Treatment Plan | Mehanna Advisors

Price it yourself. No call required.

Most CPAs make you book a meeting to learn what they charge. Answer four questions and you'll have your number in 60 seconds. It's an estimate, not a quote, but it's the same math we use on the call.

How long has the practice been open?

Annual collections

Across all locations, last 12 months.

How is the practice taxed?

If you don't know, pick "not sure." It's the first thing we look at.

Locations

Extra locations under the same entity share one tax return. Four or more, we build the plan with you on a call.

Separate entities

Each entity is its own set of books and its own return. Count the practice entities only, not the building.

Brokerage accounts

Taxable investment accounts that send you a 1099. Retirement accounts don't count.

K-1 investments

Syndications, funds, real estate partnerships, anything that sends you a K-1. Not the practice itself.

Do you own your building?

If you do, we handle the real estate entity too. No extra charge.

Your plan

Picked from your answers. Every plan includes bookkeeping, tax planning, and tax prep, because planning built on someone else's books is guessing. You get a Client Advisor, a Client Controller, and a Senior Accountant.

12-month planImplementation included. Onboarding takes four to six weeks and we only do it once.
Month to month$2,500 implementation, due at signing.
Not ready for the plan?

Start with a Strategic Tax Assessment.

One time. We take your last two returns and current books, find what you're overpaying, and hand you a written plan with the dollar amounts. If you sign the 12-month plan within 30 days, the full fee is credited to implementation. We take four a month.

$2,500 one time

Add-ons

Optional. Tap to add. These aren't levels of care, they're procedures, so they sit outside the plan.

Payroll, every other weekWe run it, file it, and reconcile it to your books. Tax deposits, quarterlies, W-2s, hygienist 1099s, new-hire reporting. One state, one EIN. Over 20 employees, let's talk. $35/employee

Pick a time

Twenty minutes. Your estimate comes with the booking, so we start from the number, not from scratch.

Things dentists ask before they book

Can I just get bookkeeping, or just tax prep?
No. We only take clients on the full plan. Tax planning that isn't built on our own books is a guess, and we don't sell guesses. If you only want a return filed, there are cheaper firms and we'll happily point you to one.
Why is the startup plan cheaper?
Because a practice under three years old has less history, fewer entities, and needs the plan built more than it needs it optimized. The scope is the same. The price grows when the practice does.
What's the Strategic Tax Assessment?
A one-time, paid review of your last two returns and current books that ends in a written plan with dollar amounts attached. It's for owners who want to see the gap before they commit to the monthly plan. Sign the 12-month plan within 30 days and the assessment fee is credited to implementation. We take four a month.
What's Concierge?
The same plan with monthly KPI financials and a planning meeting every month instead of three a year. Bought separately those are $694. Together they're $597. It's for owners who manage by the numbers, or who have an acquisition, a build-out, or an associate coming.
What's a "planning call"?
A scheduled meeting where we walk through your numbers, model the next quarter's tax, and give you decisions to make: equipment timing, retirement contributions, owner comp, entity moves. Three a year on Standard, twelve on Concierge.
Is there a contract?
Twelve months, and implementation is included. Onboarding takes four to six weeks and we don't do it twice. If you want month to month, it's $2,500 for implementation and you can leave whenever you like.
I have two practices. Why does one cost $497 and the other $997?
A second location under the same entity is more bookkeeping and the same tax return, so it's $497. A second entity is its own books, its own return, and its own set of decisions, so it's $997. The tool asks both so you get the right number.
What isn't in the calculator?
Practice acquisitions, DSO transactions, multi-state associates, cleanup of prior years, personal returns with more than three brokerage accounts or K-1s, and anything with the IRS already involved. Fractional CFO projects with Bilal are also priced on a call. Those are real projects, not checkboxes.
